About Alyssa Jane

Examing the world of death work is a passion of mine. As I continue this journey Hospice care was a field that I wanted to explore more and it has been a very benifical element to acknowledge within the medical and death industry. It enlighted my persepctive on the dying process from a wider lense. Hospice contains clinical, holistic and spirtual care in the end of life stages, focusing on palliative and end-of-life care. Through a series of interviews of 4 hopsice nurses I wanted to gain persective on how they manage death on a daily basis as well as ways they have adapted to the clinical and holisic technologies in their work enviornment.
